2024 Garlic

  • Because all materials are harvested in the coolest part of the day (sunrise or sunset) to ensure the best vase life, I appreciate having at least a day’s advance notice for your flower order. 

  • I am at the Chester Farmer’s Market on Fridays from 9:00am - 12:30pm from mid-May until Thanksgiving weekend. I am at the Hubbard’s Farmer’s Market on Saturday’s from 8-noon during their season.

  • I love hearing about your arrangement, transplant or a recipe that you’ve prepared with vegetables you’ve sourced at Sweet Spot.  Please send me an update, a photo or of course, ask a question.

Sweet Spot Oceanside Farm offers transplants that give your gardens and containers a healthy head start.  Transplants are started from seed and cared for by me.  When they arrive at your home, they are ready to be tucked in. 

Once your order is placed, I will prepare it and let you know when it is ready for pick up.

Please note the following:

  • Transplants are annuals unless noted in the description.

  • All transplants that I offer are best grown in full sun.

  • Photos were taken by me or supplied by my seed supplier/vendor.

  • The transplants have been started in a growing mix from ASB Greenworld, a Canadian product.  This mixture has been enriched with Growing Green Earthworm Castings (located in Wedgeport, NS).  The earthworm castings give everything an extra boost…and what could be better than worm poop?

  • Transplants are $4.78 plus HST ($5.50 total) per 3.5” pot. Quantities of plants per pot is noted in the description of each item.     

  • For payment, please pay with cash on pick-up day or send and e-transfer to Melanie@sweetspotfarm.ca.
